Day 1 – Thursday 15 Feb. 2007 - Arrival

Arrival Tel Aviv airport early morning - Start your tour of the Holy Land with the sights and aromas of Neot Kedumim Biblical Reserve - Visit Meggido, the chariot city of Solomon and Ahab - Continue onto Nazareth and the Church of Annunciation - Drive by Cana of Galilee where Jesus performed the first miracle of turning water into wine - Overnight: Nazareth


Day 2 – Friday 16 Feb. 2007 - Upper Galilee

Enjoy a spectacular sunrise at the top of Mt. Arbel - Explore Caesari of Philippi at the Banias Springs - See the remains of a boat from the time of Jesus - Ascend to the top of the Mt. of Beatitudes, where you can relive the Sermon on the Mount - Visit Tabgha, where Jesus multiplied five loaves and two fish - Continue onto Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ Ministries - Experience a late afternoon sail across the Sea of Galilee - Overnight: Golan hotel Tiberias


Day 3 – Saturday 17 Feb. 2007 - Lower Galilee

Explore the ancient city of Beith Shean, a fully excavated Roman/Byzantine city of Scytopolis - Enjoy a short walk to a lookout point on Mount Gilboa - Swim the natural spring waters of Gan Hashlosha - Visit Gideon’s Spring where Gideon and his 300 men defeated the Philistines - Experience a special baptism ceremony at Yardenit - Overnight: Golan Tiberias


Day 4 – Sunday 18 Feb.2007 - Coastal Plain

Drive to Safed – city of Mystical Judaism - Visit the Carmelite Monastery at the Mukarah, where Elijah smote the false prophets - Continue onto Caesarea Maritima to see the harbor city built by Herod the Great - Visit the ancient port city of Old Jaffa and hear tales of Simon the Tanner and Jonah and the Whale -Overnight: Jerusalem


Day 5 – Monday 19 Feb.2007 - Jerusalem 1,000 BC

Visit the Room of the Last Supperand King David's Tomb - Explore the Southern Wall excavations and see the stairs leading up to the Temple Mount - Experience a spiritual visit to the Western Wall - See the City of David - the original city built by King David - VisitBethlehem and the Church of the Nativity (subject to security clearance)-Overnight: Jerusalem


Day 6 – Tuesday 20 Feb.2007 - Dead Sea

Depart Jerusalem via the Inn of the Good Samaritan - Visit the mighty fortress of Masada - Enjoy lunch and experience a ‘float’ in the salty waters of the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth - Visit the caves of Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls where discovered - Overnight: Jerusalem


Day 7 – Wednesday 21 Feb.2007 - Digging the past

Start with a spectacular view of Jerusalem from Mt. of Olives - Visit the Ella Valley and relive the battle of David and Goliath - Participate in an archeological dig at Tel Maresha - Tour the Bell Caves and the Columbarium at Beit Guvrin - Visit Beit Shemesh home of the Ark of the Covenant - See Emmaus where Jesus appeared after his resurrection -Overnight: Jerusalem


Day 8 – Thursday 22 Feb.2007 - Last days of Jesus Christ

Walk down the Palm Sunday Road and visit the Church of all Nations at the Garden of Gethsemane - See the dungeon at the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu - Visit the Pools of Bethesda and St. Annes Church - Pass through Ecce Homo Arch to the Via Dolorosa - Visit each Station of the Cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher - End your Jerusalem experience with Holy Communion at the Garden Tomb - Visit the fascinating village of Yad Hashmonah in the Judean Mountains, founded by Finnish Christians. - Enjoy a farewell festive dinner before departure - Transfer to the airport for a late evening flight back to South Africa
